Down the Rabbit Hole, downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin, is all it promises… a venture into wonderland! The proprietor, Colleen, has carefully selected her inventory representing both local artisans and global awareness. Handcrafted clothing, baskets, cards, jewelry, incense, beauty and health products, teas and tea pots, ornaments, sacred objects, stones and gems. Don’t know what you’re looking for? You’ll find it “down the rabbit hole!”
The venue is also becoming popular for weekly classes including Qi Gong with Trained Monkey and Yoga for Health with Studio Jai. Other events, such as this Saturday’s Mandala Workshop, are worth looking out for…create a personal mandala for the new year using guided meditation; how fun! Regular Sound Baths are also held on Sundays. Contact Colleen at 262-656-1515 for more information or hop-by 5531 6th Avenue to experience the goodness with all your senses.
Personally, I can recommend the antique rose Badger Butter for rough winter hands; a string of silk colorful butterflies (now moved from my potted Christmas tree to a ceiling hook); and turmeric ginger sweet licorice, zesty orange root Rishi tea to warm you from the inside out below freezing. I can also recommend Wednesdays at 4:30 Yoga for Health. The beginners’ class welcomes all levels for an engaging hour of asanas, pranayama, and yoga nidra. Learn the Ha-ree-OM mantra and let the sound vibration carry you through the rest of the week. Thank you Colleen for sharing Down the Rabbit Hole with Studio Jai! We love your space! We love YOU. Love yourselves too.

Thank you Deborah for your fabulous words. I am thrilled and very grateful that you have chosen Down the Rabbit Hole as a place to share your gifts. So glad to have you in my world!
Hi Debrorah,
Your website looks pretty nice! Diid you do it your self?
Still enoying the ‘flow ‘ exercises you showed me.
admiring you r business sense to get this site / classes / workshops organised so nicely and professionaly…..go go girl! hope to see you again in the future.
My friend Shenoa of GIS & Web Design tailored the WordPress theme called Elegance to match my vision for the site. I wrote the content, took all the photos during various visits to Nepal, and scanned a batik made by a family I met in Sri Lanka and the scanned images became the background, roses, leaves etc that weave the pages together. Shenoa was amazing with her patience and creative problem-solving. And she worked within my budget. I am so happy to hear that you are practicing the Jin Shin Jyutsu flows! By the way, I am STILL working on my mandala from the workshop you led. Thank you so much for the guidance to help me visualize my intentions for 2011 in mandala form. It’s transforming into a collage. And if Red Girl needs a place to stay while you retreat, here I am!
